Response Draft: your quality response, written to the marking scheme

We write your whole quality response from your own evidence: every answer to its marking criteria and word limit, checked against the full tender pack.

Who it's for

  • You've found a tender worth bidding for and don't have the time or a bid writer to answer it.
  • You're a repairs contractor or care provider bidding to a council, housing association or care commissioner.
  • You want a fixed price agreed before we start, not a day rate.

What you get

  • Every scored question answered, in the buyer's order and headings, inside its word limit.
  • A compliance check of the whole tender pack: format, attachments, declarations and pass/fail rules.
  • Answers built only from your evidence. Anything we can't support is marked [EVIDENCE NEEDED] for you to fill, never invented.
  • Accreditations you claim checked against their public registers.
  • Two rounds of changes.
  • Every answer you approve saved to your own answer library, for your next bid.

How will you keep residents informed about their repair?

Every resident gets a text when the job is booked, the day before, and when our operative is on the way. If we can't keep an appointment, our planner calls the resident before the slot starts and offers a new one. [EVIDENCE NEEDED: your missed-appointment rate for the last year]

What we need from you

  • The tender pack.
  • Answers to our evidence questions, which you can give by voice on your phone.
  • Your policies, certificates, case studies and figures. We ask for anything missing and never fill gaps with made-up facts.

Our guarantee

  • Two rounds of changes, requested within 10 working days of delivery (terms 8.1).
  • If you can't meet one of the tender's pass/fail requirements, we tell you within 2 working days of receiving the pack and, if you choose, refund in full or move the fee to another tender (terms 8.4).
  • If we miss an agreed delivery date for reasons within our control, you can cancel for a full refund (terms 8.3).
  • No one can honestly promise a win: buyers mark price as well as quality (terms 7).

Who checks it

We're appointing experienced UK bid writers; every bid we write or check is reviewed before it reaches you, and nothing is delivered until a reviewer is in place. See how a bid is checked.

One firm per lot

We write for one firm per lot of any tender, so we never work for your competitor on the same contract (terms 3.1). We never say who else is interested in a tender.

Questions

How is the price worked out?

By the number of scored words the tender asks for. We read the pack and show the band before you pay. If you pay before we've read it, we quote the standard band and check it when the pack arrives; if the tender is bigger we tell you the difference first, and you can cancel for a full refund.

Do you write the pricing schedule?

No. We never write or advise on pricing. You price the work and submit the bid yourself.

Will you submit the bid for us?

No. You check every fact, approve the final version and submit it through the buyer's portal. We never log into your portal.

Will you write for a competitor on the same tender?

No. We take one firm per lot. If we can't take a lot, we say so without saying why.
