Pocket ClearBid puts your client area on your phone so you can answer our questions by voice, photograph a certificate the moment you see it, and keep every compliance document in one place with reminders before it expires.

Sign in to your client area on your phone, then add it to your Home Screen. It opens like an app, full screen, with its own icon.
iPhone (Safari)
- Open clearbiduk.com/account in Safari and sign in.
- Tap the Share button at the bottom of the screen (the square with an arrow).
- Scroll down and tap Add to Home Screen, then Add.
- Open ClearBid from your Home Screen and turn on notifications in the client area.
Needs iOS 16.4 or later for notifications. iPhone doesn't yet let web apps appear in the share sheet or send in the background, so photos send while ClearBid is open.
Android (Chrome)
- Open clearbiduk.com/account in Chrome and sign in.
- Tap Add ClearBid to your phone when it appears, or open the menu (three dots) and choose Add to Home screen.
- Open ClearBid from your Home Screen and turn on notifications.
- Share photos and files from any app: choose ClearBid in the share sheet.
Uploads can finish in the background once you've opened ClearBid, so you can put the phone away.
On a computer, the same client area works in your browser; Chrome and Edge offer an install icon in the address bar.
How it fits a bid
Evidence we can trace, not claims we hope are true.
Everything you capture joins your company's evidence profile. We write only from facts you've confirmed, and your reviewer checks every accreditation on the public register before a bid goes out. A certificate that's expired or about to expire is flagged before we write, not found by the buyer.
- Your documents are kept in the UK region, in your company's own private folder. Our policy is to delete them 12 months after our last work for you.
- Voice recordings are turned into text by our transcription provider in the EU. Our policy is to delete the recording after 30 days; the text you confirmed stays.
- Notifications say what's needed, such as a document's name or a tender's title, never the text of a bid or a document. Turn them off any time; email continues.
- Nothing is ever used for another client, and nothing trains AI. Details are in our privacy notice.
Questions
Is it an app from the App Store or Google Play?
No. It's the ClearBid client area added to your Home Screen, which every modern phone can do. There's nothing to download from a store, nothing to pay, and it updates itself.
Does it work offline?
Yes, for what matters on site. Questions and your documents open offline once you've seen them. Answers, voice notes and photos are saved on your phone and sent when you're back online. On Android they can send in the background; on iPhone they send the next time you open ClearBid.
What about notifications on iPhone?
They work once ClearBid is on your Home Screen (iOS 16.4 or later). In a normal Safari tab, iPhone doesn't allow notifications for websites. Email continues whatever you choose.
Can I share a photo straight into ClearBid?
On Android, yes: share from your camera roll, WhatsApp or your files and choose ClearBid. iPhone doesn't yet let web apps appear in the share sheet, so on iPhone open ClearBid and use Photograph a certificate or Upload a file. We'll add email-in once our email provider has a signed data processing agreement.
Is anything checked automatically?
We read the number, the cover and the expiry date from each document, and you confirm them. Nothing is treated as verified until your reviewer checks it on the public register for a bid, by hand. We never treat a document as current without a date.
Who can see my documents?
Only your company's account and the reviewer on a bid you've booked. Documents are stored in the UK region, and our policy is to delete them 12 months after our last work for you. They are never used for another client or to train AI.
