Framework Application: we write your application to join a framework or DPS

We write your application to join a framework, a dynamic purchasing system (DPS), a dynamic market or an approved list. You get every scored answer for each lot you choose, written from your own evidence. You check it and submit it.

Who it's for

  • A council, housing association or care commissioner has opened a framework, DPS or approved list, and you want a place on it.
  • You don't have the time, or a bid writer, to answer every lot.
  • You want to know the price before we start.

What you get

  • An answer to every scored question, for each lot you apply for, in the buyer's order and inside each word limit.
  • A checklist of every pass or fail condition, such as turnover, insurance, accreditations and policies, with what you need to show for each one.
  • A short guide to how the buyer will hand out work once you're on the list, for example a mini-competition or a direct award, and what to keep ready.
  • Answers built only from your evidence. Anything we can't back up is marked [EVIDENCE NEEDED] for you to fill in. We never make facts up.
  • Accreditations you claim, checked against their public registers.
  • Two rounds of changes.
  • Help to stay on track: a timeline back from the deadline, reminders, chasers for missing evidence and a final checklist before you submit.
  • Nothing on your rates or prices, and no promise of how much work you'll get. Those stay with you.

Call-off readiness: the buyer gives out work under this framework by mini-competition. Keep your method statement, case studies and certificates up to date, so each call-off answer starts from them.

What we need from you

  • The application pack: every file the buyer published, including the selection questionnaire.
  • Which lots you want to apply for. Not sure? We show you what each lot asks for.
  • Answers to our questions about how you work. You can answer by voice on your phone.
  • Your policies, certificates, case studies and figures. We ask for anything that's missing.

Our guarantee

  • Two rounds of changes, requested within 10 working days of delivery, as for a Response Draft (terms 8.1).
  • If you can't meet a pass or fail condition, we tell you within 2 working days of receiving the pack and, if you choose, refund in full or move the fee to another tender (terms 8.4).
  • If we miss an agreed delivery date for reasons within our control, you can cancel for a full refund (terms 8.3).
  • A place on a framework, DPS or list is not a promise of work. No one can honestly promise a place or any work from it (terms 7).

Full wording in our terms of business.

Who checks it

We're appointing experienced UK bid writers; every bid we write or check is reviewed before it reaches you, and nothing is delivered until a reviewer is in place. See how a bid is checked.

One firm per lot

We write for one firm per lot of any tender, so we never work for your competitor on the same contract (terms 3.1). We never say who else is interested in a tender.

Questions

What do I get, in short?

Every scored answer for the lots you choose, a checklist of the pass or fail conditions, and a short guide to winning work once you're on the list. A person checks it all before you see it.

What if the deadline is close?

With 7 to 11 working days left, we deliver in 5 working days with rush delivery, which adds 25% to the price. Your quote shows it before you pay. With less than 7 working days, we can't do it well, so we say so.

What if I can't meet a pass or fail condition for one lot?

We check every pass or fail condition when the pack arrives and tell you within 2 working days which lot it affects. You choose: we write for the lots you can apply for, or you take a full refund, or you move the fee to another tender (terms 8.4).

How is the price worked out?

By the number of scored words the application asks for, across the lots you apply for. We read the pack and show the price before you pay. Over 20,000 scored words, we quote by hand. Returning clients and partner codes get their usual discount.

Do you price my rates?

No. We never write or advise on pricing, including the rates or price schedule a framework asks for. You price the work yourself.

Does a place on the framework guarantee work?

No. A place on a framework, DPS or list lets the buyer give you work later, usually by a mini-competition or a direct award. It doesn't promise any work or any amount of it, and we never say it does.

Will you submit the application for us?

No. You check every fact, approve the final version and submit it on the buyer's portal yourself. We never log into your portal or submit for you.

Which terms apply?

A Framework Application is a Response Draft for an application to join a framework, DPS or list, so our terms for Response Drafts apply to it, including one firm per lot, two rounds of changes and the pass or fail check.

Will you write for a competitor on the same lot?

No. We take one firm per lot, as for a Response Draft. If we can't take a lot, we say so without saying why.
