AI tools write fluent answers quickly. Evaluators don't mark fluency: they mark each answer against published criteria, look for evidence behind every claim, and can reject a bid that breaks the pack's instructions. A Health Check scores what you wrote the way the buyer will, and tells you what to fix first.

What we check
- Every question against its marking criteria. A score estimate on the buyer's own scale, the parts of the question the answer doesn't cover, and the weighted marks at stake.
- Claims without evidence. Statements an evaluator can't credit without a figure, an example or a document, flagged so you can add your own evidence or cut them.
- The pack's instructions. Word and page limits, the order and format asked for, and anything that could get the bid marked non-compliant.
- Pricing in the wrong place. Prices or mark-ups in a quality answer, where the pack asks for them only in the pricing schedule.
- House details. American spellings and missing answers.
You get a score estimate for every question and the 10 fixes worth the most marks, rejection risks first. We're appointing experienced UK bid writers; every bid we write or check is reviewed before it reaches you, and nothing is delivered until a reviewer is in place.
What we see most often
We don't publish failure rates yet. We only quote figures from our own checks, and we will once we have checked enough bids for the numbers to mean something.
Being open about AI
Some tender packs ask whether AI was used to prepare the bid. If yours does, answer it truthfully. When we write or check a bid, we tell you how AI was used in the work, so you can answer that question accurately.
Questions
Is it a problem that we used AI to write our bid?
Not in itself. Buyers mark what the answer says against their criteria, not how it was typed. Some buyers ask whether AI was used, so answer that question honestly if it is in the pack. The risk is an answer that reads well but doesn't do what the marking scheme asks.
Will you rewrite it?
No. A Health Check scores what you wrote and tells you the fixes worth the most marks, in order. If you want the whole response written for you, that's a Response Draft, and the Health Check fee comes off it within 30 days for the same tender.
Do you check whether it sounds like AI?
We don't run AI detectors. We check what evaluators mark: whether each answer covers every part of the question, backs its claims with evidence, keeps to the word limit and follows the pack's instructions.
How close to the deadline can I send it?
At least 3 working days before the deadline: 48 hours for us, then time for you to make the fixes.
Do you use my bid to train AI?
No. Your documents are used only for your check, never to train AI and never shared with another client.
